W.P. Puppet Theatre, incorporated as a nonprofit society in 1990, has toured schools and communities throughout western Canada, including Old Crow, Yukon and T'sigachig, NWT and Pukatawagin MB. International tours have included USA, Mexico, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia and Bulgaria. Past productions have explored physical science, astronomy, environmental issues and plain ol' fun. Productions integrate mask, dance, storytelling and projections with various puppetry types, notably 'bunraku style.' Original music and original scripts are often featured.
