The Alberta Railway Museum is a seasonal museum open from Victoria Day weekend in May to the Labour Day weekend in September. It houses various railway equipment collected from Canadian national railways and Northern Alberta railways. Some of the exhibits are CNR Passenger Train, CNR Prairie Mixed Freight, Northern Alberta Railways Passenger Train, Northern Alberta Railways Work Train, and Auxiliary Train. The museum consists of many buildings such as St. Albert Station, Gibbons Water Tank, Edmonton South Yard Fire Hall, Bunkhouse, Opal Station, Peavey Station, and Car and Locomotive Shops. The gift shop sells souvenirs, snacks, and beverages. The museum archives are located at the City of Edmonton Archives.
