The park covers 203 sq miles, and it joins with Glacier National Park in Montana. The park has a range of wildlife and rare wildflowers. Open all year, Waterton Lakes NP offers hiking and fishing, however you must get a park use permit at the visitor center.
The visitor center is open daily 8-8, mid-June through Labour Day; 8-6, the day after Labour Day to mid-September. Please call for admission rates.
