Portage Cove State Recreation Site has nine tent sites a half mile past Ft Seward. It is for walk-in and bicycle camping only.
Chilkat State Park has 32 RV sites a three tent sites and Mile 7 Mud Bay Rd.
Chilkoot Lake Campground has 32 sites at Mile 10 Lutak Rd. Mosquito Lake Recreation Site at Mile 27 Haines Hwy has six campsites nestled in a wooded setting, with fishing and boat launch available.
