Anvik

Anvik is in Interior Alaska on the Anvik River (a subsidiary of the Yukon River. Originally the village was on the other side of the river, but residents gradually moved with the establishment of an Episcopal mission and school in 1887. Anvik has a small museum with artifacts from the area's Athabascan, Russian, and Alaskan history.
