Bremner Historic Mining District

This abandoned gold mine provides a unique glimpse into what it must have been like to be part of the great gold rush to Alaska. The Bremner Mine is nestled between the Chitina and Bremner rivers south of McCarthy. There is also an old bunkhouse at the site.
