The original roadhouse at Kantishna was built in the early 1900s, which can still be seen at the back of the resort. Throughout the years, the roadhouse has evolved from a gold miner's tent camp into a modern, yet rustic, Alaskan resort.
The resort offers 32 full-service cabins 95 miles inside Denali National Park and Preserve. Meals are prepared by a professional chef.
Activities include horse-drawn wagonrides, goldpanning, fishing, hiking, biking and evening programs.
