50-mile long Lake Clark is located within 3.6-million-acre Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. The lake and surrounding area provide excellent fishing, hunting, and sightseeing opportunities. The lake is accessible by aircraft only.

Lake Clark is also a very important spawning grounds for the world's largest sockeye salmon.
