This is the site of the second-oldest community in Alaska, dating to the Russian era. Gift shops in log cabins feature Alaskan specialties and artists demonstrating their work.
The restaurant, in a historic cannery building, features Alaskan seafood, steaks and daily specials. Sourdough pancakes are made from 50-year-old starter. Banquet and conference facilities are available.
