Northway Community Library, serving an area of 96 residents, has a collection of 2,200 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 138 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 630 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $3,200. Patrons make 1,260 visits annually, and check out materials 1,150 times. Thirty-eight percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
