Kenny Lake Public Library, serving an area of 420 residents, has a collection of 6,300 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 420 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 780 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. The system comprises one central library, plus one bookmobile. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $3,000. Patrons make 2,800 visits annually, and check out materials 3,700 times. Twenty-three percent of all check-outs are children's materials.

Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival Cordova AK May2-5 The Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival is held annually in beautiful Cordova, Alaska. Each spring, as many as five million shorebirds rest and feed at the tidal flats of the Copper River Delta during spring migration. The Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival provides the opportunity for bird watchers to be part of this incredible migration. The festival includes many activities, workshops, and community events.
