Situated within the solitude of the Alaska Range and accessible only by bush plane, Denali Wilderness Lodge consists of a 3000-square-foot centerpiece, where dinner is served in family style in the atrium while breakfast and lunch are presented in buffet style. Pancakes, muffins, sauces, homemade breads, rolls and desserts are a few of the items on the menu. Accommodations include 22 guestrooms equipped with private bath, warm comforters and radiant heat. The Cheechako Hotel, a frontier outpost hotel, has six guest rooms decorated with velour couches and old lacework. Outdoor activities include hiking and horse back riding.
