Stikine Icefield

The Stikine Icefield is one of the few remnants of the once-vast ice sheets that covered much of North America ages ago. The icefield coveres 2,900 square miles along the crest of the Coastal Mountains that separate the U.S. and Canada. The icefield is home to many glaciers.

Flightseeing, charter boats, and kayaking are among the many options available for visitors wishing to see the icefields.
