St. Paul lies on a narrow peninsula on the southern tip of St. Paul Island, the largest of the five islands in the Pribilofs. St. Paul is predominantly Aleut, with a small Indian and Eskimo population. Fur seal rookeries and more than 200 species of nesting sea birds attract a significant number of tourists annually.
