The Valdez Museum includes displays on the history of Valdez and the Prince William Sound Region. A miner's cabin gives a glimpse into what a typical prospector's cabin might have looked like. Another highlight of the museum is a fully-restored 1907 steam fire engine. There are also exhibits on the 1964 earthquake, the EXXON VALDEZ Oil Spill, and more. The Valdez Museum Store sells Alaskan books, prints, and other Alaska made products.
