Open since 1988 in the historic Bottega Favorita building on Highland Avenue, this is the second in Frank Stitt's family of restaurants. The aromas filling the room in the restaurant are reminiscent of Italy and the Mediterranean: simple Venetian fish dishes, Tuscan roasts, Moroccan tagines and flavors from throughout the Mediterranean basin. They have over 180 selections of red, white and bubbly with 16 offerings by the glass, including a Prosecco from Nino Franco, a wonderful apertif.
