The city is located 14 miles S of Columbia along Highway 95 on the banks of the Chattahoochie River near the Georgia and Florida state lines.
Some of the local attractions in the area are the Chattahoochee State Park, and the Farley Nuclear Visitors Center. The parks throughout the city provide many people a place to go with playgrounds, walking trails, and picnic tables. The feel of the city and many things to do make this area a great place to visit.
