Pope-Locke Hunting Preserve is set on the backwaters of the Alabama River, and is protected on three sides by the river. The lodge offers 6 to 10 hunters groups for sleep. All hunts include great meals, experienced guides and friendly service. Hunting is done from shooting houses located on wildlife plots and clear cuts, as well as ladder stands located along trails leading to and from bedding and feeding areas. The hunting season begins in mid-October and ends January 31st.
