Jesse Owens Memorial Park & Museum

This park is a memorial to Olympian Jesse Owens and features a statue, visitor center, softball field, basketball court, walking trail and picnic pavilions. Replicas of Owens' home and the 1936 Olympic torch are highlighted. The museum includes a theatre area, timeline of Owens life, running gallery, humanitarian gallery, video interactives, gift shop and the Decatur Daily Resource Center.
