Oak Mountain Elementary School offers appropriate educational experiences in a child-centered environment. It serves through kindergarten to 3rd grade. Physical education, art, music, reading recovery, eclipse classes, and counseling are also included in the curriculum of core subjects. The school has an active PTO. There is a nurse to dispense medication at school.
