Lanett is located in
Chambers County (
Central Region).
The city was once a thriving mill town that was owned by Lafayette Lanier and Theodore Bennett. These two men gave the city its name from the dedication put into the survival the town.
Some of the local attractions in the area include the Doll House On Child's Grave and Fort Tyler. Both are excellent places to visit while in the area.
The city is full of accommodations including the Days Inn, Econo Lodge, and the Southern Harbor Resort & Marina.
