Hartselle Medical Center is a 150-bed, acute care facility serving a population of approximately 11,000 with several small surrounding communities yielding a total service area of approximately 26,000 people. Hartselle Medical Center has been fully accredited since 1963 by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It is also licensed by the state of Alabama and certified for Medicare. The facility has the only Cardiac Rehabilitation program in the county and offers a fully staffed emergency room around-the-clock.
