Prattville Baptist Hospital is an acute care, 85-bed community hospital. Originally built in 1952 by two local physicians, Prattville Baptist Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The medical staff consists of 17 local physicians and over 100 affiliated physicians from the area. In addition to Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine and General Surgery, specialties include anesthesiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pathology, radiology, vascular surgery, urology, podiatry and pain management.
