The Monroe County Public Library is a great place for students of the Alabama Southern Community College to find all resource materials during the school year. It is also a great place for residents to find information on daily needs.
Many places of activities are throughout the city including the Whitney Lee Park & Pool, Our Place Teen Center, and the Vanity Fair Golf & Tennis Club. These are excellent places to go while in the area and wonderful place to spend a day.
