Pelham is located in
Shelby County (
Central Region), south of
Birmingham between Hoover and Alabaster along Highway 31 near
Oak Mountain State Park.
Some of the local attractions in the area are the Oak Mountain State Park, Grand Slam USA, and the Pelham Civic Center providing hockey, basketball, wrestling, boxing, volleyball, gymnastics, and tennis!
The Oak Mountain Amphitheater, Alabama Symphony, and the Birmingham Broadway Series are excellent places to visit while in the area due to the significance of the city.
