Thurston T Nelson Elementary School

Nelson Elementary School opened its doors for kindergarten to 4th grade students in 1979. The school has a playground, gym, conference room, and asphalt track. Special education, counseling, music, art, speech pathology, and physical education are included in the curriculum of core subjects. Extended day care is provided. The Library has an Accelerated Reader program. The PTO supports all school activities. A child nutrition program is available.
