Anniston Museum of Natural History |
The Anniston Museum of Natural History has seven fascinating exhibit halls and open-air exhibition areas. You can explore the wilds of Africa, the wonders of the North American wilderness, and the mysteries of 2,000 year old mummies. The open-air exhibits place visitors face to face with fossils, geology collections, plants, animals, live snakes, nests, and hatchlings. Visitors can see one of the country's oldest exhibits of birds in their habitats, and explore the children's discovery room for hands-on experiences. AMNH provides facilities for celebrating birthdays, receptions, business meetings, and conferences. They also provide an in-house education department that develops and conducts programs and events to merge fun and learning.
