Rock Quarry Elementary School was established in 1997 by the Tuscaloosa City School District. The mission is to form a community partnership that enables all students to reach their highest potential. Classes for kindergarten to 5th grade are offered. Counseling, reading, art, and physical education are integrated with the curriculum of core subjects. Chorus and faculty leaders club are available. The school has a library. An accelerated reader program is provided. Lunch is served.
