Alma is located in
Crawford County within the beautiful foothills of the
Ozark Mountains east of
Fort Smith, between Dyer and Fort Smith along Highway 64, near the banks of the
Arkansas River and the Oklahoma boarder. Alma is part of the
Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma metro area.
Alma has its own community water park, is the home of Eagle Crest (one of Arkansas's finest golf courses), and the area offers boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, swimming, softball, baseball and tennis.
