Fordyce is located in
Dallas County between
Pine Bluff and
Camden along Hwy 79. Also situated west of the Saline River.
Fordyce has one of the largest deer populations in the state, as well as plenty of turkeys and squirrels for the avid hunter. Fishing areas abound. The state's first Game and Fish Commission lake, Tri-County Lake, is located here.
The Fordyce Country Club is a private facility with a nine hole golf course and swimming pool available to members.
A large producer in Fordyce's economic stability is timber.
