This public four-year institution was founded in 1907 as Arkansas State Normal School and, after three subsequent name changes, today is known as the University of Central Arkansas.
The Campus has 45 major buildings on 298 acres and is located in Conway, a growing community of 45,000 about 30 miles northwest of Little Rock
The Colleges of Business Administration, Fine Arts and Communication, Education, Health and Applied Sciences, Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Honors College make up this University. Associates Degrees are also awarded.
Conway is in Faulkner County and UCA has a total enrollment of about 8800.
Athletic scholarships are given in football, basketball and baseball and student housing is available for 1850.
