McNeil is located in
Columbia County just north of
Magnolia, between Waldo and
Stephens at the junction of US Hwy 79 & Hwy 98, near the Louisiana boarder and east of Lake Columbia.
This community was named for William B. McNeil, founder of the College Hill Academy. Logoly State Park is a popular attraction in the McNeil area.
