Search Hot Springs Arkansas

One of the top thoroughbred race tracks in the country. The exciting live meet is held January thru April. Simulcasting of Triple Crown races and more during rest of the year. Many folks wish they had a little better grasp of the old hocus-pocus when they try to pick a winner at Oaklawn Park, the historic race track nestled in the center of town on Central Avenue, the town's primary north-south artery. Unlike most race tracks filled with hardened gamblers, Oaklawn is a peaceful place that has become a part of the Arkansas social scene. Casual racing fans visit more to admire the beautiful blooms of the white dogwoods that adorn the infield and enjoy the famed corned beef sandwiches than to try to get rich quick. Shopping and restaurants located inside.
