0n this 13-acre site are found plants native to Arkansas's Gulf Coastal Plain region as well as other species such as azaleas and camellias. Botanist-led guided tours may be arranged in advance. The location is a mile north off Highway 82B. Admission is free.

Adjacent to the El Dorado High School, this 13-acre site exhibits plants indigenous to Arkansas’s West Gulf Coastal Plain region, and exotic species including flowering azaleas and camellias. Operated by the South Arkansas Community College, the arboretum offers walking trails, a pavilion, restrooms and parking. It is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., except for designated holidays
