Discover the diverse botanical beauty found only on the Colorado Plateau. Situated 7,150 feet above sea level, The Arboretum helps visitors understand the unique environment of the High Southwest. Guests may explore 200 acres of gardens and natural habitats with 2,000 plant species representing everything from high desert to alpine tundra.
On-site facilities include a visitors' center, a horticultural center, an amphitheater, and a concert area. Display areas include a pond and constructed wetlands, an herb garden, wildflower meadows, a cactus house, a butterfly garden, a nature trail and more.
The Arboretum at Flagstaff is open April 1 through December 15. Admission rates includes an hour-long guided tours given daily at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. No pets or smoking are allowed on the grounds.
