Avondale Arizona

Avondale is located in Maricopa County on the southwestern city limits of Phoenix between Goodyear and Tempe along Highway 85.

The City of Avondale is ranked one of the fastest growing residential areas of Maricopa County, Arizona. In December 1946 the City of Avondale was incorporated.

Avondale boasts many parks, recreation areas, picnic areas, and nature trails throughout the city. There are three rivers that traverse the City. They include the Gila, Salt and Agua Fria Rivers.

Avondale also is home to Phoenix International Raceway, a world-class motor sports venue nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Estrella Mountains. Today, Avondale is a popular NASCAR destination.

Avondale is also home of the Billy Moore Days. This is a popular community festival

Avondale is part of the Phoenix-Mesa, Arizona metro area.
