As one of the oldest libraries in Arizona, guests are encouraged to enjoy the Copper Queen Library's architecture, history and unique collection of Southwestern materials. The historic library has grown from its first home in the corner of the Copper Queen Mercantile Store in 1882 to one of the most prominent and accessible institutions in Bisbee. Various events and programs are sponsored throughout the year. Please contact the library for a schedule of events. The Copper Queen Library is open daily excluding Sunday. The library hours vary; call to inquire. Library cards are issued with verification of local residence only.
