Coolidge Arizona

Coolidge is located in Pinal County northwest of Tucson between Casa Grande and Florence along Highway 87 near the Picacho Reservoir.

Coolidge is part of the Phoenix-Mesa, Arizona metro area.

Coolidge is home of the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. The monument was the very first historic site protected and preserved by the United States Government on June 22, 1892. It was built about 1200 A.D. by the Hohokam people.

The City of Coolidge, incorporated in 1945, was named in honor of Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President acknowledging the impact of the Coolidge Dam.
