This unique garden, founded in 1937, displays one of the most extensive collections of desert plants in the world. Throughout the year, interactive exhibits, docent-guided tours, and activities engage visitors of all ages. The gift shop offers gifts, books, apparel, home and garden decor, and gourmet foods. The plant shop houses one of the Valley's largest selection of cacti and succulents. The Richter Research Library is open to the students of the desert.
