Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this was a printing office of a Spanish-language newspaper founded by Carlos Y. Velasco in 1878. During reconstruction, handset type was found under the floorboards.The paper was circulated throughout southern Arizona and northern Mexico and Velasco continued publishing it until his death.
