Conrad Hilton purchased his first hotel in Cisco, Texas back in 1919. The first hotel to carry the Hilton name was built in Dallas in 1925. In 1943, Hilton became the first "coast-to-coast" hotel chain in the United States; and in 1949, open its first hotel outside the U.S. in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The Hilton Hotel chain has accommodations from coast-to-coast including numerous locations in Arizona.
