1125 East Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe Arizona 85281
The course was named for Karsten Solheim, the inventor of Ping Golf Clubs and an individual devoted to improving the game of golf for all to enjoy. Designed by Pete Dye, his unique touch is etched in all 18 holes. Rolling fairways sculpted by lush mounding only hint at the challenge that lies inherent in the layout. Arizona Golf Journal voted #9, #16 and #18 as three of the most difficult holes in Arizona.
The golf course features a fully equipped 20-acre practice facility. The course also provides instruction, a driving range, a putting green, and sand practice areas. There is also a 21,000 square foot Sun Angel Clubhouse. Guests may enjoy delicious breakfasts, lunches and private events. The course also boasts one of America's "Best 100 Golf Shops."
