In 1961, St. Joseph Hospital opened its doors to the community of eastern Tucson. This 335-bed facility offers a number of primary and specialty services. In addition to its esteemed Regional Eye Center and Diabetes Care Center, the hosp ital provides exceptional cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services, maternal and newborn care, hospice care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services. The organization was the first in Arizona to offer an on-site corporate child care center.
