Page Hospital, founded in 1958 to serve construction workers involved in erecting Glen Canyon Dam, serves the health needs of residents from local communities and the surrounding Navajo Nation, as well as 3.5 million visitors to Lake Powell and the Grand Circle region of northern Arizona and southern Utah. The hospital is supported by Phoenix-based Banner Health System, which offers patients direct access to the specialized care available from the Phoenix area's most-preferred health care system.
