Havasu Regional Medical Center is a 138 bed facility. It is certified for Medicare and is JCAHO accredited. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It holds an ALS Base Hospital Certificate issued by the State of Arizona, authorizing medical direction and support of pre-hospital care providers such as fire department and ambulance personnel.
More than 100 affiliated physicians comprise the medical staff, representing a broad cross-section of specialty areas. Visiting physician specialists assist local physicians in patient care on a referral basis.
Havasu Regional Medical Center offers a full compliment of patient centered, community hospital and regional referral services in all of the major medical disciplines.
A 33 Million dollar expansion to the facility is currently underway.
