Kindred Hospital Phoenix

Kindred Hospital Phoenix, formely known as Vencor Hospital, is a 58-bed facility devoted to the care of acute, long-term patients. The hospital, which opened in February 1990, serves patients with various medical conditions and physical disabilities, including those with serious neurological, central nervous system, cardiopulmonary and renal diseases.

Kindred Hospital Phoenix specializes in ventilator management and weaning, complex wound care, extensive rehabilitation and dialysis for the complex patient. A five-bed intensive care unit is also housed in the facility. The hospital is Medicare certified, state licensed and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Their mission is to provide high-quality, cost-effective healthcare to long-term, acutely ill patients in central and northern Arizona.
