Comments: Tombstone was AWESOME!!! History is literally around every corner.The gunfight site at the rear of the O.K. Corral is a must for anybody going to Tombstone and is worth the small fee. They have signs and characters standing in the approximate area of the gunfight and a small audio story(button on the corner of Fly Studio) that did a great job of painting the picture of this infamous duel. The gunfight reenactment however is kind of a joke. They crunch everybody into a ampitheater (little shade) for a ho-hum gunfight reenactment that lacks factual evidence, meaning it made the cowboys look like saints and the Earps and Holliday look like blood thrusty murders.The actors seemed as though they were bored to death with their jobs. Very disappointed in this and if it weren't for the fact that I was crunched in like a sardine I probably would have left early. Definitely go to the O.K. Corral gunfight site you won't be disappointed unless you go to the reenactment. : )

Comments: Tombstone's Main Event is a new theatrical presentation with professional actors portraying the events leading up to and culminating in the famous gunfight. The event takes place Fridays, Saturdays and select Sundays and weekdays at 5 pm at the Corral (call for details), and is 45 minutes long. A free interactive street theater performance begins at the Birdcage Theater on the opposite end of Allen Street at about 4:30 and makes its way to the Corral gates, where admission for the Main Event is $5.00 for adults (children under 12 are currently free). This show is aimed at adults and history buffs, as well as fans of the movie "Tombstone". Families, teens, and older children will also enjoy. Much of the play is dialogue driven and will be over the heads of younger children, who may also be greatly alarmed by the gunshots. The Corral stays open until 6 pm on the days of the Main Event (not to be confused with the 2 pm re-enactment).
