Park of the Canals |
The 30-acre park includes visual evidence of ancient Hohokam Indian canal systems dating back to 700 B.C., and an extensive desert regions botanical garden. Vegetation from the four desert regions is on display including trees, shrubs and 25 different varieties of prickly pear cacti. There is also a large playground area available for children and there is no admission fee.
