Forest Houses Resort is for people who enjoy peace and quiet in the crowded world. Accommodations include fourteen 1 to 4 bedroom houses and one apartment, all with fireplaces or wood burning stoves, patios or decks, complete kitchens, and fully furnished with tub or shower baths. Most rooms have king or queen beds. Linens, kitchen utensils, firewood, and barbeques are provided.

They do not have television and computer hookups. Activities include hiking, bird watching, trout fishing, golfing and horse back riding. Monument Valley, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Walnut Canyon, Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monument are the nearby attractions.
