Originally called "Oak Creek Airport" in 1955 when the first planes landed on the mesa top mountain airstrip, the Sedona Airport has a rich history as a rural airport over the years.
The paved runway extends for 5,131 feet. The facility is situated at an elevation of 4,827 feet, at a distance of approximately two miles from Sedona, and contains a restaurant and conference room.
